Project Description
TPA manage all fence branding at T In The Park, Scotland’s largest music festival
The Challenge
TPA were tasked with managing all fence branding across 30,000 metres of temporary fencing at T in the Park; which attracts in excess of 250,000 music fans over 3 days and becomes Scotland’s fifth largest town for the duration of the event.
We had to ensure more than 2,000 posters were installed within an incredibly short timescale ranging from health and safety notices, information and in-house advertising including directional signage and site maps.
What We Did
Working closely with the event promoter, the TPA team developed a range of temporary advertising solutions throughout the site. Forward planning and communication is key with TPA operatives on site servicing the poster sites before, during and after the event. We also developed a safe and rapid method to install and uninstall our advertising structures.
The Benefits
TPA’s unique and specialised knowledge of managing signage and advertising at outdoor events ensures that a convenient and effective service is provided.
For example, working closely with the event promoter and their health and safety partners such as Police Scotland, we provided a tried and tested platform for raising awareness of vital issues amongst festival-goers, such as the rogue batch of ecstasy pills that were causing fatalities at the time. This campaign had to be deployed at very short notice and the TPA team were able to assist and act quickly to place warning posters at key spots inside and outside the event, ensuring that everyone got the message.
